At Maple Tree, we recognise the importance of regular attendance and the impact this has on children's attainment at school. We monitor the attendance of the classes and individual pupils. It is also important for children to arrive at school on time to avoid missing the start of the lesson.

Each week we upload a summary of the attendance for the classes on our newsletter and the winning class is revealed in our weekly celebration assembly. The class with the best attendance are awarded Heddy Bear (Here Every Day) and Otis the sheep (On Time in School).
