At Maple Tree we take the safety of our children as great importance; their heath and wellbeing comes above all other.
Designated Safeguarding Leads
Miss Hyde, Deputy Head, is the Designated Lead Persons for Safeguarding. Mrs Bainbridge, Headteacher, and Chris Pond, SENDco and Wellbeing worker, are the Deputy Designated Leads. They attend regular training to ensure they are up-to-date with practices and procedures and communicate appropriately with the relevant bodies. This also includes termly updates to the Safeguarding Governor, Ted Rowland.
