Welcome to Year 3’s Rowan Class!

Year 3 is part of Lower Key Stage 2 (Years 3 and 4). There is one Year 3 class and one Year 4 class. Although they each have their own curriculum they may sometimes join together to learn or for assemblies. 

I am eager to teach this year’s Rowan Class having taught most of them in Year 1!  During this academic year there will be lots of exciting opportunities to gain new knowledge but to also consolidate the previous skills and knowledge form KS1.  We are very lucky to be joined by Mrs Green, who will support the children and help them with their learning throughout the year.  We will also be joined by Mr Vine this year, he will be teaching on a Wednesday morning, which I am sure the children will love.  We all hope that, as a motivated team, we will be able to motivate and inspire the children all areas of their learning.
