KS2 News

We've had a ball this week during our Art Week. In KS2 we studied the Japanese artist Hokusai who had a love of Mount Fuji. He created 36 different prints of Mount Fuji. Some of the images you had to look hard to find the mountain. We enjoyed sketching different view points of Mount Snowdon in Wales and then created collographs with card and glue to print our own pictures using printing ink and rollers. We also studied Monet's River Thames artwork and created a picture in the style of Monet, paying careful attention to the colours he used. Please click here to see all the fun we had.
